Viet Nam GEF Working Group
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Head of the Steering Committee of the Viet Nam Global Environment Fund has signed Decision No.02/QD-BCDGEF dated 28/10/2015 on the establishment of the Working Group of the Viet Nam Global Environment Facility. Viet Nam GEF Working Group headed by Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment cum Viet Nam GEF Operational Focal and Head of Office of Viet Nam GEF Steering Committee and consists of 16 members who are officials of departments of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the relevant ministries, including the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The working group is responsible for technical advice to the Steering Committee, Head of the Steering Committee, Viet Nam GEF Office and operates under the provisions of the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Vietnam GEF Steering Committee.
